Dr. Michelle Speranza is an Upper Cervical Doctor of Chiropractic, a life-long student, and lover of nature and all things outdoors. She strives to create connection in communities through education and helping people find solutions to their health problems.

Originally from Calgary, Dr. Speranza completed her Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Saskatchewan and went on to graduate summa cum laude with her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota. She then went on to pursue post-graduate studies focused on management of head and neck injuries and advanced imaging evaluation obtaining her Diplomate in Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP). She is a member of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association and is a Part 3 Board Certified Candidate.

She has a passion for helping people suffering from headaches, dizziness and balance problems. Her goal is to help people get to the root of the issue so that they can understand what is happening in their body, return to doing the activities they love, and ultimately take back control of their health.

When she is not in the clinic you can find her out in the backcountry, on the bike trails, or out for a nature walk with her dog.

Holding is Healing

…and precision is key

The effectiveness of the NUCCA correction does not come with getting adjusted continuously, but rather when the body is holding the adjustment. Specialized images of the upper neck allow the NUCCA doctor to measure and design a precise adjustment specific to an individual’s unique anatomy. Correction of the upper neck misalignment reduces stress and creates more ease in the body, allowing it to more effectively engage its natural repair and recovery processes. As the body strengthens in an aligned state less adjustments should be needed over time. Our goal is to help you recognize what it looks and feels like to be in alignment vs out of alignment and build your tool kit to help you maintain core balance in your body!

Airdrie chiropractor Michelle Speranza uses the NUCCA method to help her patients alleviate pain.
